Wild Sage Counselling
Counselling to Help You Feel More Like Yourself Again
Personalized counselling for adults in Kamloops, BC, and online across British Columbia.
A Place to Feel Understood
You Don’t Have to Carry It All Alone
Maybe you’ve been holding it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected underneath.
You may be navigating grief, trauma, a difficult relationship, a major life transition, or simply feeling like you’ve lost touch with yourself somewhere along the way.
Whatever brings you here, counselling can offer a supportive space to slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and begin moving forward in a way that feels right for you.
Meet Chelsey
A Space Where You Can Show Up as You Are
I believe meaningful change begins when you feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on, without judgement or pressure to have it all figured out.
My approach to counselling is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. We’ll make space for what you’re carrying, explore what’s keeping you stuck, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for your life.
You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. We can start wherever you are.
The Meaning Behind The Name
Why Wild Sage?
Wild sage grows naturally throughout the Interior of British Columbia. It doesn’t force itself to grow. It grows when the conditions are right.
That idea reflects something I deeply believe about people, too. We aren’t meant to force our way through healing or become some perfect version of ourselves. Sometimes growth begins by creating the right conditions to feel safe, understood, and supported.
To me, Wild Sage also represents the wisdom we gather along the way. We are shaped by what we’ve lived through, by change, loss, resilience, and the seasons we’ve survived. There is strength in that imperfect, hard-earned wisdom.
Rooted in wisdom. Grounded in strength.
How I Can Help
Support for What You’re Going Through
There’s no single reason people come to counselling. You may be navigating something specific, carrying something that’s been with you for years, or simply knowing that something needs to change. Wherever you’re starting from, we can begin there.

Anxiety, Overwhelm & Self-Worth
When worry, overthinking, self-doubt, or the feeling that you’re never quite “enough” makes it hard to feel grounded in yourself.

Trauma & PTSD
A safe, paced approach to understanding how past experiences may still be affecting you and finding ways to move forward without rushing the process.

Grief & Loss
Support through loss in its many forms, including bereavement, complicated grief, and grief connected to substance use or overdose.

Life Changes & Relationships
Navigate separation, divorce, co-parenting, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and other changes that can leave life feeling uncertain.

Men's Mental Health
A supportive, judgement-free space to talk honestly about stress, relationships, emotions, identity, and the pressures that can be difficult to put into words.

Identity & LGBTQ+ Support
Affirming counselling to explore identity, gender, sexuality, relationships, belonging, and what it means to live more authentically as yourself.

What Counselling With Chelsey Looks Like
A Different Kind of Space
You set the pace.
There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We’ll take things at a pace that feels comfortable and work with what feels most important to you.
You're not here to be fixed.
Counselling isn’t about someone telling you what’s wrong with you. It’s a space to better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and find a way forward that feels like your own.
Therapy should be practical, too.
Insight matters, but so does having something you can take with you. Together, we can explore tools and strategies that support you beyond the counselling room and in your everyday life.
